Waterton

So next weekend (Labor Day) I'm heading into Waterton National Park in Alberta, Canada.  Be prepared for new images!  Also, I'll post my Glacier images here since for some unfathomable reason, my website won't let you see them big (I've gone over the code with a fine tooth comb four times.  There must be something else going on).  I've procured a new speedlight as well as some business cards (hurray!), so this next weekend should be a success!!  Hope you all have a fabulous week!

My website has been revamped.  Why, you may ask, has it been revamped after being live for less than four months?  Well, the landscape thing is kinda something that I have really gotten into, and i feel that I had enough images to create a new landscape gallery!  Yay!!  Alysonhansen.com

Yellowstone.... Again!!

So I ventured into Yellowstone again this weekend.  The difference? I arrived in the park at two in the afternoon and photographed straight through till ten the next morning (this morning, actually).  I haven't really seen photographs of Yellowstone at night, so I really wanted to go capture that.  Also, my friend and I discovered that we could get on top of a mountain and take "aerial" photos of the Grand Prismatic spring without having to spend the thousand or so dollars to rent a helicopter to take us over it (which I still want to do!).  All in all, I feel it was a very successful 24 hours!
